Shipping & Returns
Bayt Al Hifaz works because both sides feel safe — sellers know they'll get paid, and buyers know what they're receiving. Here's how it works, in plain language.
How shipping works
- Sellers ship with a platform-generated prepaid label — flat-rate tiers based on weight (under 1 lb, 1–3 lbs, 3 lbs+).
- Buyers see the full shipping cost at checkout, included in the total.
- Sellers drop off at any partner carrier location or schedule a pickup.
- Tracking is automatic and visible to both parties in their dashboards.
Returns & exchanges
- Buyers have a 7-day window from confirmed delivery to report an item as "not as described."
- Returns require photo evidence comparing the item to the original listing photos.
- Buyer pays return shipping unless the item was materially misrepresented, in which case the seller covers it.
- Seller payouts are held for 7 days after delivery before being released, to allow the return window to close.
- Exchanges aren't directly supported — return the piece and purchase the size or style you need separately.
- Repeated abuse of returns (3+ disputed) triggers an account review.
Buyer & seller protection
- All payments are processed securely; funds are held until delivery is confirmed.
- Sellers are protected from fraudulent "item not received" claims when tracking shows delivery.
- Buyers are protected if an item is significantly different from its listing.
